About Nebraska State Lottery

Continuing a mission that combines fun and generosity, the Nebraska Lottery passionately aims to generate proceeds for fantastic causes chosen by the voters and the Legislature, all while providing Nebraskans with top-notch entertainment options.

Back in November 1992, a resounding 63 percent of Nebraska voters gave a green light to a constitutional amendment, paving the way for the creation of the state lottery. Fast-forward to February 24, 1993, and the Nebraska Legislature made it official with the passage of LB 138, birthing the Nebraska Lottery. At its inception, it was the 37th lottery in the United States.

From $1 to $30 scratch tickets to Lotto games like 2by2, Pick 3, MyDaY, Mega Millions, Lucky For Life, Powerball, Double Play, and Pick 5—there’s a game for every Nebraskan.

Scratch ticket sales were introduced on September 11, 1993, followed by Lotto ticket sales on July 21, 1994, marking the beginning of a new way to play for lotto enthusiasts across the state. Get ready for some winning moments with the Nebraska Lottery!
