Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot is up to $334 million, with a $155.7 cash option for the weekend drawing.

Nobody took home the grand prize Tuesday night — the numbers drawn were 2, 24, 25, 52, and 58 with a gold Mega Ball of 9 — although two lucky winners (one in California, the other in Michigan) each hit the Match 5 and won a million dollars apiece for their troubles.

Friday’s drawing will be the 17th since the last time someone took home the big prize. The last winning numbers were pulled on Sept. 10, when a ticket sold in Texas cashed in for over $810 million.

Lottery Geeks estimates some 17.5 million tickets were sold for the Election Day drawing.

The best way to increase voter turnout would be replacing lottery tickets with election betting. Every gas station in America needs to be giving you the Polymarket line on demand.

      Powerball building back up

Nobody won the Powerball lottery Wednesday night, pushing Saturday’s jackpot to an estimated $92 million, with a $43.4 million cash prize.

The winning numbers Wednesday were 12, 17, 37, 58 and, 62, with a red Powerball of 4. One California ticket-buyer hit all five white balls to take home a million-dollar prize.

Lottery Geeks estimates some 7.9 million tickets were sold.

Tickets for either lottery cost $2, with most states offering a prize multiplier option for an additional $1.

Both Powerball and Mega Millions are legal in all states except Alabama, Alaska, Hawaii, Nevada, and Utah. Tickets for both draw games are also sold in Washington, D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands, while in Puerto Rico, customers can buy tickets for Powerball, but not for Mega Millions.
