Jackpot enthusiasm is building as the week hits “humpday,” with Mega Millions’ top prize estimated at $977 million and Powerball at an estimated $687 million. So it’s not a bad time for iLottery courier Jackpocket to be coming along with a new feature for those looking to load up on America’s two most popular draw lotteries.

Jackpocket has announced its “Super Pick” product, which “gives users an easy way to pick every special and standard ball in the game with just one tap.”

While there are about 300 million possible number combinations for either Powerball or Mega Millions and it’s not exactly a positive-expected-value move to play them all, Super Pick guarantees lottery players some degree of a “sweat” by quickly mixing and matching and making sure the customer has exposure to each number on at least one ticket.

With 25 gold Mega Balls in Mega Millions, a Super Pick for Mega Millions means buying 25 $2 tickets. Powerball has 26 red Powerballs, so the Super Pick order there is for 26 tickets at the same price point.

“Super Pick is the latest in Jackpocket’s long list of features that you can’t get anywhere else,” Peter Sullivan, the founder and CEO of Jackpocket, said in announcing the new option. “Based on direct feedback from our users, we developed this feature to streamline the way they are participating in the lottery and make it the most convenient process possible. It’s been exciting to see the great interest in Super Pick already as the Mega Millions and Powerball jackpots continue to rise toward historic levels.”

      Additional Jackpocket details

Last month, DraftKings announced its intention to acquire Jackpocket, Inc., as the sports betting/fantasy sports giant sought to expand its reach by entering the iLottery space. The deal is expected to close in the second half of 2024. Prior to the announcement, Jackpocket had itself expanded into the iCasino space in one state, New Jersey.

Courier apps like Jackpocket enable lottery players to purchase tickets without having to go to a retail establishment — somewhat like a DoorDash for lottery tickets.

Other notable features on the app that predate Super Pick:

      • Smart Order: Players can set automatic orders for their preferred games.
      • Jackpocket Pools: Participants can pool resources with other Jackpocket users in their state or create private pools with friends, family, or co-workers.
      • Giveaways:  Jackpocket offers chances to win vacations, sports event tickets, and VIP passes in addition to lottery winnings.
      • Automatic Win Notifications: Users are automatically notified if they win at any level, with prizes under approximately $600 instantly credited to the Jackpocket customer’s account.
      • Responsible Gaming:  Jackpocket provides consumer protections such as daily deposit and spend limits, self-exclusion, and access to responsible gambling resources.

Jackpocket is available in Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Puerto Rico, Texas, Washington, D.C., and West Virginia.
